Project Overview

The Brief

Structural design for two semi-detached new dwellings on a cleared site in Ruislip. The project covered the full structural scope from foundations through to roof framing.

Foundation designed in accordance with the NHBC guidelines based on soil investigation (SI) report. The superstructure included load-bearing masonry walls, steel beams, beam & block ground floor and a timber first floor. The roof was designed as a traditional cut roof with purlins.

Detailed structural drawings and calculations were produced for the full building, coordinated with the architect’s layout drawings. The package was approved by Building Control without amendment.
