Engineering
Frame Modus is an independent structural engineering service focused on residential and small-scale commercial projects. Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, we work with architects, builders, and private clients across Hertfordshire and London.
The practice is led by a structural engineer with extensive experience in the design and delivery of a wide range of building structures, including extensions, refurbishments, and new builds. Work has involved close collaboration with architects, contractors, and Building Control bodies.
We remain deliberately focused on the type and scale of project where our service adds the most value: residential alterations, extensions, loft conversions, and small new builds where clear communication and practical design make a real difference.
Qualifications & Standards
All work is carried out in accordance with current UK standards and codes, including Eurocodes, and we carry full professional indemnity cover for every project we undertake.
Our structural designs comply with UK Building Regulations (Part A — Structure) and all relevant British Standards. Calculations and drawings are produced to a standard suitable for Building Control submission.
